e-Challan Online Payment
The Government of India introduced an e-challan to regularise the process of issuing challan and to make challan payment easier for citizens. e-Challan uses CCTVs to capture defaulters and charge them with a fine. Under the Motor Vehicles Act, if you don’t adhere to the rules and regulations on the road, you will be charged with a fine.
It is important to stay up to date regarding your challan status. An e-challan should be paid within 60 days of its date of issue. If you do not clear your challan dues on time, and your online traffic challan status remains unpaid, traffic police may suspend your driver’s license.
Vehicle e-challans are easily managed online and you can check your challan status, pay challan dues, and so on.
